What was the last big thing you left behind?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 29, 2009:
I think the last big thing I left behind was belief in institutionalised religion. I learned that all it wanted to do was to control me, and now being free of it has given me a better understanding of love, spirituality, wisdom and peace.
